The heart of Khomas Quarter Horse Stud. Every foal we breed starts here — with mares chosen for athleticism, cow sense, and above all, temperament.
Where It All Began
In 2010 we brought Tango home from South Africa, and with her our dream began. A sorrel mare of proven Quarter Horse breeding, she became the cornerstone of everything Khomas Quarter Horse Stud stands for today.
Tango gifted us four remarkable foals — Tex, Utah, Phantom and Lanïna — each raised and trained right here on the farm, and each proof of the versatility and heart she passes on.
Meet the Mares
Each mare is selected for what she passes on — bone, movement, disposition, and the versatility that defines a Khomas-bred horse.
A soft, kind and willing mare who always gives her best. She learns fast and tries hard — but she’ll tell you, quickly and honestly, when something isn’t right. Her pedigree carries Smart Little Lena, Doc O’Lena and Peppy Bull cow-horse blood.
